Over 350,000 people in Kansas City and Topeka don’t know where their next meal is coming from. At Cable Dahmer, our goal is to provide one million meals for families in need right here in our community. We want to give back to the community that has supported us for over half of a century. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Harvesters Community Food Network to help feed these families.

About Harvesters
As a food bank, Harvesters—The Community Food Network acquires, stores and distributes food to its network of more than 760 nonprofit agencies. The agencies then provide direct service to families, children and seniors in need. Harvesters’ network includes food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes and others. Children are often among those most in need of food. In Harvesters’ service area,105,320 children are food insecure. 17% of children under age 18 in our region are food insecure and 40% do not qualify for food stamps, WIC, or free and reduced-price school meals.
